It announced its official entry in the country with a bang and therefore has proven all news related to QNET complaints to be baseless and misleading.

Differences between Direct Selling and Pyramid Scheme prove falsity of QNET scam stories

Gone are the days when ignorance about the differences between pyramid schemes and legitimate direct selling and multilevel marketing companies prevailed. Exposure to literatures on the subject has cleared the air of confusion and doubt. Recently, Amway India Managing Director and CEO, William Scott Pinckney and two Indian executives were arrested for cheating members of their direct selling network. Ajay Chanam, Head, Corporate Affairs (India) of the Hong Kong based direct selling company QNET has clarified important aspects related to the potential filled profession of network marketing. This has truly been an eye opener.

The recent arrest has laid emphasis on the need of a law that demarcates legitimate direct selling companies and illegal pyramid schemes. The latter cheats people by portraying themselves as genuine multilevel marketing companies and dupes people of their hard earned money. Many people have voiced their questions behind the coining of the name ‘pyramid’. Companies and people associated with such schemes pay commissions or payments on the basis of recruitments. The person who begins this vicious cycle is the one who makes money. Commission can be generated only when recruitment takes place. Mr Chanam says that it would be a welcome move to ban such kind of businesses. With such ventures out of the picture, stories like QNET scam will fade into oblivion.
In the interview, he defined direct selling, too. He says, “Direct Selling is the marketing of products and services directly to consumers in a face to face manner, away from retail locations. Individuals join a direct selling company to consume the products at a discount or to earn by retailing the products/services to people they know and also have the opportunity to earn when the products/services get promoted or consumed by the people they have introduced into their personal network.”

Mr Chanam has clearly defined the points of distinction between genuine network marketing businesses and pyramid schemes. The former has a lot to offer to individuals in the form of a promising career, but it involves tremendous hard work and perseverance. MLM companies retail products that use cutting edge technology and enhance the standard of living of people all across the globe. Organisations that employ the pyramid scheme do not have such kind of products to show their credibility and reliability.

Direct selling offers a lucrative compensation plan to individuals, but restrictions have been incorporated. This is done to ensure that the opportunities of earning an income are even. It has been ensured that a balance is maintained. In pyramid schemes, this is not the case. In this scenario, up lines earn a great deal of money and the down lines cannot earn a sufficient amount of money due to late participation. After the clarification of such key concepts, people will certainly understand the hollowness of QNET scam stories.

In legitimate direct selling companies, recruitment is not the way to a good compensation. Independent Representatives can earn by promoting and retailing their unique range of products. In fraudulent pyramid scheme companies, you can expect financial returns if you recruit people. Due to such establishments, people have falsely misconstrued the business model of legitimate network marketing companies.

The true story behind the Qnet scam

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is not just a buzzword at this 6 million member based company. It goes beyond mere philanthropy. It is a commitment that it makes in different parts of the world. This company contributes to the sustainable economic development of local communities and the society at large and to improve the quality of their life in ways that are good for business and nature.

The RYTHM Foundation was founded by this MLM Company. RHYTHM stands for Raise Yourself to Help Mankind. This is the corporate heartbeat of this company. This philosophy is embodied through its CSR arm, the RYTHM Foundation is this company’s way of showing that it is determined to achieve commercial success whilst honouring universal values and respecting people, communities and the environment. The mission of RYTHM Foundation is to build opportunities and care for those in need. It aims to create decent living conditions and to protect the environment to facilitate sustainability. It also strives to ensure our children – the symbol of our future – are safe and supported, now and tomorrow. The scope of assistance, support and rehabilitation administered by RYTHM Foundation goes beyond the signing of cheques. The Foundation members live and breathe their responsibility to mankind. The commitment of RYTHM Foundation is embodied by real life stories to help oversee the on-going work of RYTHM Foundation within the community, i.e. administering free nutritious meals, providing education, and ensuring the sustainability of the community. Why would a company that is contributing so much to the society con its own members? Thus, I choose to believe that the scam stories about QNET are completely fabricated.

Some recent projects of this company are: World Vision International (WVI), which helps 121 children across 11 countries over a two-year sponsorship programme, in the largest corporate charity initiative in WVI’s history; The United Nations World Food Programme; The Rainbow Project, a non-profit organisation that works with autistic children in Hong Kong; The Children’s Cancer Hospital Egypt 57357, a hospital for children with cancer in Egypt and Africa, that provides free cancer treatment and medical support;Regional Special Boarding School for Hearing Impaired Children in Taldykorgan, in the Almaty region of Kazakhstan; The Pan Din Hai Pen Dao (Turn the 'Clay' to the 'Star') Project, helping young children in Thailand become golf stars;Disaster relief for Typhoon Ondoy (Philippines) and the Padang Earthquake (Indonesia);Baan Pang Da School for disabled children; andThe Home for the Blind with Multiple Disabilities under the royal patronage of His Majesty the King of Thailand. With so many projects at hand, I’m sure this company is way beyond rip-offs and ploys. The QNET scam stories sound more of a joke to me.

The actions of this company are backed by its Advisory Board, which comprises of a team of legal and direct selling professionals who offer industry advice and professional marketing guidelines to the company’s IRs.This company strives to be an example of transparency and legitimate operations no matter where it does business. With such great steps, I choose to believe that the QNET scam stories are fake.

Innovation or re-invention is the key to survival of any business venture. This is the mantra for success in the MLM world too. The field of network marketing has witnessed a revolution of sorts due to the efforts of QNET. The popularity of this multilevel marketing company has spread all across the globe. It has scaled great heights. They have set a shining example for all their contemporaries and continue to do so. They are about to introduce a new set of tools that is sure to light up the day of any Independent Representative. Due to these reasons, this network marketing enterprise is the apple of every customer’s eye. The efficacy of their products has been a great factor in their extensive popularity.

It is true that there is no age required for seeking knowledge. Any form of learning is beneficial. This network marketing company seems to believe in this principle, and they have always encouraged their Independent Representatives to hone their skills. They are set to introduce a business tool that will lead IRs to their first commission in a short span of thirty days. It will skyrocket the pace of their business and will help them grow to a great level. Their progress is sure to increase their prosperity in a manifold manner. This tool is a blessing to all Independent Representatives. After reading about such a development, I think planted stories like QNET scam are devoid of logic.

This business tool will help IRs in building their business from scratch. It will help them cultivate the necessary skills. It is a comprehensive four-week plan that will give you a good kick start in your business. Through the use of this tool, you can develop your contact list; you will understand the art of approaching prospect customers and leave a lasting impression. You will also learn how to make an effective presentation, highlighting the utility of various products. This business tool also emphasizes on the importance of follow-ups. This is essential in building a strong connection with customers. This factor also ensures the longevity of this bond. It is a tool that will help you in keeping track of your business and in recognizing the pattern of your progress too. With the introduction of this tool, this network marketing company is about to set a new trend. Their success has wiped out the negative effects of mendacious stories like QNET scam.

Another interesting feature is that this body of information will be provided in the form of an e Book. This is convenient for Independent Representatives as they can cultivate their skills on the go. This network marketing company advocates this form as it is beneficial for the environment too. They have been releasing their official magazine in this format too. Such accomplishments of this MLM Company highlight the falsity in stories related to scams, frauds etc... I must say that the achievements of this network marketing giant paint a different but pleasant picture altogether!
